Tamarindo Recycles presents Trashion Fashion, an event to raise awareness and funds for the Tamarindo Recycles committee.  The event will take place on Thursday September 11, 2008 at Bar 1 in Playa Tamarindo. Doors will open at 7pm and a spectacular Fashion show featuring local designers Kata Kis from Papaya con Leche and Petra Beuthner of Uno Solo will happen at 9pm. The fashion show will feature incredible designs created using recycled materials. Decorations are by artists Jaguart and music by Fabrice Vanegas. Entrance is ¢5000 and includes a free drink. Raffle drawings will occur throughout the night and raffle tickets may be purchased before or during the event. Raffle prizes include spa packages from Los Altos de Eros, tickets for the Blue Dolphin catamaran, a gift basket from Café Britt, items from Reciclarte and from the designers, among others. All proceeds will go to improving and expanding the community recycling program organized by Tamarindo Recycles.  |
