 (APMT) Having seen the recent financial report of the APMT, you probably couldn't help but notice the large negative balance we have to work with. If you don't want to read the details, just check the bottom line. As all of us know, it's very hard to get things done with no money. Actually, it's hard to get things done around here even if you have the money! Our community objectives can only be accomplished by moving forward ... ... on important issues in a timely manner. For the members who have not paid the full $600 and can, please do. This would enable us to do what we need to do and we wouldn't have to start the next year in the red. The amount can be added to your 2008 membership, and would be a great help to us. If you read further into the report you will see that many people have participated with much more than $600. This plea is not to harass members who can not afford it. We need all of the community to become members.. We would also like to ask that those that are in a position to do so go ahead and contribute their 2008 membership fees so that we can start the New Year ahead, so that we can continue with our projects. The APMT has accomplished a great deal this year. If community members knew the amount of time put into our many projects, they would pay. If we could explain to you all that is really going on, you would pay. If you sat in the APMT office for one day, you would see how often the phone rings, how many people Federico has to talk to, how many important issues have to be dealt with each and every day. And I'm sure you would come to the conclusion that we, the Board, Federico, and many others who donate their time have more important things to be doing than looking for money. Help us to help you. Quisieramos pedirles a las personas que no han pagado la totalidad de los $600 que por favor lo hagan ahora. Esto nos permitiría hacer lo necesario y significaría no empezar el nuevo año con deudas. El monto faltante puede ser sumado a la cuota del 2008 y nos ayudaría mucho. Si lea más del reporte verá que hay gente que ha colaborado con mucho mas de $600. Esta súplica no es para molestar a los miembros que realmente no pueden pagar. Todos los miembros de la comunidad necesitan afiliarse a APMT. Quisieramos pedirles a los que son capaces que paguen sus membesías del 2008 en cuanto puedan para poder empezar con los proyectos del 2008. APMT logró muchas cosas este año. Si los miembros de la comunidad supieran cuanto tiempo invertimos en todos los proyectos, pagarían. Si pudieramos explicar todo lo que realmente está pasando, Ud. pagaría. Si Ud. se sentara en la oficina de APMT un sólo día, vería cuantas veces el téléfono timbra, cuante gente viene a hablar con Féderico, cuantos temas importantes hay que manejar cada día y todos los días. Y estoy seguro que Ud. concluyera que nosotros, la Junta, Féderico y todos los que donan su tiempo tienen cosas más importantes que hacer que buscar dinero. Ayúdenos a ayudarles!
