On many occasion when social conversations concern reminisces of Tamarindo’s “Good Ole Days”, someone inevitably makes the comment that a book should be, or should have been written or there should be a journal or written record of the events and people that have come and gone.

There is and has been many colorful and controversial characters to grace the shores of Tamarindo Bay; Mike Diffenderffer, Chief, Toes on the Nose, Smiling Dog, Doc Joe, Rudy Schmidt, Bo(racho), Sam(onique) to mention but a few.
